Comet and eBay offer shoppers access to huge range of electronics
Consumers who shop online with eBay will now be able to purchase the full range of Comet's electronic products through the internet marketplace.
It is the first high street retailer to offer this service to online shoppers, although a variety of brand names have paired up with eBay in the past.
As part of the launch, Comet will sell a selection of electrical items at eBay's boutique bricks-and-mortar store opening yesterday (December 1st) in London's West End.
Ryan Thomas, head of direct channels at Comet, explained the move would increase its potential reach and give eBay users access to a broad range of stock.
"Our huge customer base and mobile shopping expertise are key reasons why so many high street brands are opting to sell with us," said Angus McCarey, UK retail director at eBay.
Last month Comet launched an interactive shopping app that allows customers to scan the barcodes of products to access additional information and online reviews
