Wednesday February 22 2012

Kensington Computer Products Group today announced that it will showcase its range of physical security devices for chip and PIN machines, retail terminals and printers as well as its ClickSafe and SecureBack locks for notebooks and tablets at Retail Business Technology Expo and Cards & Payments Solutions 2012 in London, 13th -14th March.

Retail Business Technology Expo and Cards & Payments Solutions is the definitive event for retail and hospitality organisations in the UK and mainland Europe looking for the right tools, solutions and advice to run their businesses even more effectively.  It comprises a large exhibition of technology-based solutions together with a free informative education programme incorporating over 100 seminars, conferences, workshops and inspirational features, plus a host of networking opportunities and hospitality – all under one roof.

The event is a one stop shop, showcasing end to end solutions, covering all areas of retail, including multichannel, eCommerce, marketing, merchandising, EPoS, supply chain, store systems, loss prevention, finance, payments and CRM.

Retail and consumer visitors to Kensington’s stand #108 will have the opportunity to learn more about mitigating the risk of retail downtime and loss prevention by securing in-store devices such as printers, payment terminals, tablets, and phones and will also have a chance to an iPad 2.

Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) will have the opportunity to discuss partnership opportunities with Kensington.

Michael Welsh, Business Development Manager at Kensington explained, “The opportunities for designers are endless and I’m sure we have only scratched the surface so far. ClickSafe is an ingredient technology that designers and hardware developers can turn to solve security concerns. This is important as valuable hardware is becoming increasingly mobile. Keen to continue on a path of innovation, I will be speaking with partners and potential partners about the aftermarket integration of our security products with theirs as well as new integrated applications.”
