PrismaStar launches multi-channel search and selection system
PrismaStar Selector is equipped with in-store kiosk, eCommerce and mCommerce capabilities to engage shoppers when and where it is most convenient to them.
PrismaStar offers retailers a ‘plug and play’ solution to multi-channel search and selection. The solution joins up the buying experience of consumers whether online, in-store (via kiosks), through telesales or on a mobile device with full cross-channel integration and a consistent user experience.
The new multi-channel PrismaStar solution is to be trialled over the coming months by a number of well known high street retailers in the UK.
The PrismaStar Selector is a product search tool and data acquisition system which enables shoppers to make better and faster decisions. It ‘sorts’ rather than ‘filters’, always providing shoppers with the best available product match for their requirements.
Well known brands and global retailers, including Mothercare, InternetMall, Vodafone, are praising the system. Not only does the PrismaStar Selector improve conversion rates but PrismaStar provides 100% filled and accurate structured product specification data that gives retailers complete confidence in their online services.
PrismaStar Selector is the product search and selection tool founded by Techthusiast™, Joshua Z. Tabin (formerly of Tabin Technology, sold for $50m to ENPT:NASDAQ - En Pointe Technologies in 2002). The company is led by COO Jon Horden (formerly of Pipex, Verizon and Monster.com). The Selector tool has rapidly evolved since PrismaStar received a capital injection from Octopus Ventures in September 2010.
Joshua Z.Tabin, CEO of PrismaStar comments: “The PrismaStar Selector is rapidly becoming the search and selection tool for top UK retailers because it provides simple ‘plug and play’ access to sophisticated multi-channel tools that shoppers love.”
