New for 2012 - The National Retail Federation and its technology, digital divisions come to Retail Business Technology Expo

The National Retail Federation and its retail technology standards division, ARTS, and digital division,, will host a pavilion at the Retail Business Technology Expo 2012, Europe’s fastest-growing retail show.

NRF’s pavilion will welcome eight member organisations, including Applied Data Corp, Bizerba, PCMS, and Starmount, and will bring together thought leaders from both the ARTS and communities. NRF is the world’s largest retail trade association. Companies exhibiting in the pavilion will showcase the latest in retail technologies, with a focus on mobile, social media and cloud computing.

Additionally, during the event, ARTS Executive Director Richard Mader will be presenting a seminar session ‘Leveraging the ARTS Social Commerce Blueprint for Success’ and, Artemis Berry, Senior Director of Content and Community at will  present ‘Omni-channel Retail: Socialising. Localising.  Mobilising.’ Mader and Berry are two of the featured speakers during the Retail Business Technology Expo.

The Association for Retail Technology Standards (ARTS), a division of the NRF, is   dedicated to reducing the costs of technology through standards, and, NRF’s digital division, provides a forum for retail executives to share information, lessons-learned, new perspectives, insights and intelligence about online and multichannel retailing. 

“ARTS has always prided itself on the relationships it has with the UK and EMEA retail community,” said ARTS Executive Director Richard Mader. “With nearly half of ARTS members headquartered outside the United States, Retail Business Technology Expo has provided us with an ideal platform to showcase ARTS standards and educational products. Along with, we look forward to conversations with UK and EMEA retailers to learn ideas for new IT support products and to share the knowledge of all things digital.”
