Following a surprisingly sunny Sunday, it’s back to work – which means it’s time for another edition of the Bubble Wrap-Up.

For those of you that aren’t aware, in this post, we shine the spotlight on some of the best jobs on our job board at the moment in one particular area – and this week we’ve chosen front end development.

capitalonewuFirst up this week, Capital One are searching for a Front End Engineer to join their team in Nottingham. In this role you’ll create outstanding digital solutions for customers. You’ll take the lead on coding, ensuring products are built in line with architectural patterns and coding standards – and you’ll work with product owners, architects and others to identify technical and functional system needs. Other tasks involve creative problem solving and utilising user centred design to craft next generation digital products and seamless user experiences. Sound good? The right candidate will have a solid background in User Experience design, indepth knowledge of mobile development in iOs and will be a master in Adobe software, Photoshop or other UX prototyping.

TMP Worldwide logoNext up, TMP Worldwide are on the look-out for a Front End Developer to join their offices in London. Working for one of the largest and busiest digital development teams in the recruitment industry, you’ll provide vital assistance in the development, delivery and management of technical projects across multiple channels. You’ll also make a significant impact on a wide variety of challenging development projects, helping to maintain TMP Worldwide’s record of delivering award-winning digital solutions. To secure this job, you’ll need to have a knowledge of hand coded HTML (including HTML5 and Video elements and formats), CSS3, JavaScript and frameworks and responsive web design.

Based in Sittingbourne, you’ll be responsible for producing front end web development and support for their online business as well as analytical reporting. You’ll be responsible for systems administration, including changes to business operations and new site launches – and you’ll also create HTML content per design of their internal Brand department. The perfect candidate for this role will be a skilled user of Microsoft development technologies, including ASP.NET MVC, Windows Forms and C# and they’ll also have a knowledge of using Microsoft database technologies, including Microsoft SQL server. Experience with Google Analytics is also essential.

propel blogNext in line, Propel London are recruiting for a Front End Developer to join a leading London start-up organisation. In this role, you’ll use HTML, CSS and JavaScript on a daily basis to develop their high traffic website. You’ll also work on lots of design and development work on a variety of new projects and launches for the business – and you’ll also work with lots of data feeds. Other key tasks include enhancing the UX of the existing web based products and working on a full website development. The right candidate for this vacancy will have experience building user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavScript, experience working with responsive websites and experience of working within a PHP framework, ideally WordPress.

little-black-book-300x1961Last but not least, The Little Black Book Agency are searching for two Front End Web Developers to join a highly respected digital design and marketing agency in Stockport/Manchester. In this role, you’ll work within a team of designers and developers, working across a variety of projects for both national and regional accounts. To bag this role, you’ll need to be an experienced front-end developer, with strong HTML5, CSS and JQuery skills. You’ll also need to be experienced with responsive design and used to working across multiple brands and projects at any one time. Lastly, you’ll either be a competent PHP platform developer (Magento or WordPress) or a strong visual designer who is able to design and code with ease.
