First up this week, Sainsbury’s are searching for a User Experience Designer to join their team in London. Based in Holborn, you’ll establish yourself as a UX chamption, creating engaging, easy-to-use and best in class customer experiences. In this role you’ll work across the brand’s full range of digital transaction properties (web, mobile, tablet and in-store screens) to deliver stunning user-centred designs, great interactions and a rewarding brand experience. Tempted? The right candidate for this vacancy will have multi-platform design experience, a portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end design vision and the ability to engage technical and non-technical teams through sketches, wireframes, user stories and customer journeys. A passion and inventiveness to produce consistently inspiring digital concepts is also essential.
Next in line, Three are searching for a User Experience Architect to join their team in Maidenhead. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building user friendly experiences across the brand’s web, mobile and app touchpoints. You’ll also be responsible for realising customer and content requirements and translating business goals into design solution that will make navigating these channels a piece of cake. Fancy joining the UK’s fastest growing network? To secure this role you’ll need to have a background in user experience, information architecture or interactive media design (gained at either an agency or in a corporate eCommerce environment), a broad knowledge of the analysis of user behaviour, strong technical competency and a sound commercial know-how. Other essentials include a sound working knowledge of creative tools like Omnigraffle and Microsoft Visio – and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
In third place this week, Tate are on the look-out for a Digital User Experience Designer to join their museum in Millbank, London. In this role, you’ll join Tate’s digital team and you’ll be free to apply your passion for beautiful, usable design in projects for many audiences across the UK and the world. You’ll work closely with other digital designers and producers and act as the lead designer behind the full range of Tate’s digital output, from their website to mobile apps and in-screen galleries. The perfect candidate for this role will have a degree-level qualification in graphic design or a related subject (or equivalent experience), will relish cooking up new interface concepts and will have the patience to translate these concepts via annotated wireframes into pixel-perfect designs. Adobe Creative Suite will also be second nature to the ideal candidate.
Next in line, House of Fraser are searching for a UI/UX Designer to join their team in Central London. In this role you’ll work to help achieve House of Fraser’s vision by designing user experiences and journeys across all digital channels to deliver best of breed usability for House of Fraser’s customers. Key responsibilities include creating a compelling design and structured layout for their web application, working with the UX Architect to design and develop interfaces that are optimised for both technical performance and user experience and designing scenarios and system maps and mapping user journeys. The right candidate for this vacancy will be an experienced UI/UX Designer within a fast paced environment, have a strong understanding of user interface design patterns and user interaction mechanisms and the ability to understand end-users and the journeys they may take through sophisticated functionality.
Last but not least, Success Digital are searching for a User Experience Visual Designer to join a household retailer in London. In this role you’ll look after a team of UX Visual Designers and you’ll be responsible for identifying, creating and delivering the user experience and visual design for a range of digital products in an agile environment. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring consistency and quality of digital user experience is maintained through the design language and you’ll be also be responsible for exploiting current and emerging trends to help deliver improvements to existing UX solutions. The right candidate for this vacancy will have experience working in a retail environment and experience in identifying and delivering best in class UX design experience across an agile product structure.
