First up this week, government organisation the Competition and Markets Authority is on the look out for a Web and Publishing Officer and an Assistant Web and Publishing Officer to join their team in Central London. Based in Holborn, you’ll play a key role in ensuring CMA’s web content on the GOV.UK website is current, accurate and well-informed. Both roles involve writing, editing and proofreading content, advising CMA project teams on accessibility and writing style and monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the digital strategy through the production of analytics reports. The right candidates for these roles will have solid editing and proofreading skills and excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and experience of producing clear and concise content as part of a digital team.
Next up, digital agency Mavens of London are searching for an SEO & Content Specialist to join their team in London. Working for one of their divisions, Foundry, you’ll be responsible for carrying out various SEO, content and blogger outreach programs which involve carrying out keyword research, optimising websites and content to ensure best performance on search engine rankings and briefing and liaising with writers and designers creating content to ensure that they follow SEO best practice and editorial guidelines. Sound good? The ideal candidate will be digitally savvy, ideally with an applied interest in digital, especially SEO, blogger outreach and/or content creation. They’ll also have a sharp eye for detail and a keen ear for tone and language.
In third place, digital media agency Harvest Digital are searching for an SEO and Content Manager to join their team in London. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the implementation of clients’ content marketing and social media strategy, creating and executing well thought out content calendars which meet clients’ overall marketing objectives. Intrigued? To bag this role you’ll need to have a minimum of two years of experience in a social and/or content role, preferably in an agency – and you’ll also win brownie points if you have a native European language – although that isn’t essential.
Next in line, Debenhams are looking for an Ecommerce Product Manager to join their team in London. In this role, you’ll be accountable for the production and integrity of Product information (including copy) across digital channels, managing and developing a Product team of 16 and the process and efficiency of product information onto the digital channels with appropriate communication to the Ecommerce team. Like the sound of working for a major retailer, a competitive salary and flexible reward package and 34 days holiday (including bank holidays)? To secure this role you’ll need to ideally have an Ecommerce production background or equivalent, experience in product upload and strong communication skills. You’ll also need excellent PC skills, experience of managing multiple reports and strong time management skills.
Last but not least, Propel London are searching for a Social Content Specialist to join a leading social media agency in West London. Working with a number of leading brands, you’ll work alongside the in-house creative to produce engaging content, be it video, infographics, micrographics or Vines. You’ll be responsible for owning the content process, from planning right through to posting plans and you’ll work with clients, helping the account team to come up with new and innovative ways to deliver results through effective content strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience of social media, at least three years of experience within an agency and strong copywriting skills. They’ll also have ruthless attention to detail, experience of managing multiple projects and have the ability to develop content plans.
